Golf Official does not collect personal information. We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or any identifying information.
When you use voice input, your device's microphone captures audio locally. This audio is processed entirely on your device by Apple's Speech Recognition framework and converted to text. Audio is never transmitted off your device.
The resulting text (your rules question) is sent to our server proxy to obtain an AI-generated ruling. We do not store or log the content of your questions.
Your text question is transmitted to a proxy server operated via Cloudflare, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a ruling. Anthropic may process and retain queries in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy.

Your ruling history is stored in the app's memory on your device only. It is not transmitted to any server and is cleared when you close the app.
Golf Official is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
